PAST - The State of Technology: Prescribing a New Path Forward

As we embark on our five-part series, "Building a Sustainable Future: Overcoming Challenges and Advancing Decarbonization," we begin with a deep dive into the state of energy-efficient technology. This event will explore the current landscape of sustainable technology and its trajectory as policy pushes us towards an all-electric economy. We'll discuss the role of the building industry in this transition, and how technology can act as a tool in our push towards a decarbonized grid. This conversation sets the stage for our series, as we explore the intersection of technology, policy, and sustainability in our collective mission to build a more equitable and sustainable future.

The first hour will be a casual technology bazar where you can eat food and enjoy captivating demonstrations from latest electrification technology innovations. Channing St. Cooper Company, Harvest Thermal, Rheem and Quit Carbon are eager to answer your questions about how electrification can fit into your projects!

The second hour will be a lively panel discussion moderated by Warren Logan where we will hear from the City of Oakland, City of Berkeley, an East Bay architect, and the West Oakland Environmental Indicator Project. We'll discuss the challenges and opportunities of electrification policy and how technology can help shape the future of electrification!
